Tatiane M. Silva, Esq. was born in Brazil and moved to the United States at the age of 15. Mrs. Silva shares a very strong connection to our immigration clients as she personally understands the hopes, fears, and confusion immigrants experience throughout their journey to lawful immigrant status. Mrs. Silva earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida International University.

She obtained her law degree in 2014 from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical College of Law, where she graduated with honors in the top 10 percent of her class. Mrs. Silva has experience in representing clients in several areas of immigration law, including immigration proceedings (deportation), adjustment of status, naturalization, asylum, waivers, applications based on Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and U-Visas. Based on her personal experience as a young immigrant to the United States, Mrs. Silva takes pride in being able to help undocumented children to obtain lawful immigration status in the United States through different forms of relief, including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS).

Mrs. Silva is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and is eligible to practice in all Florida courts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She is also a member of the Florida Immigrant Coalition.

Maria Serra

Associate Attorney

Born in Puerto Rico, Maria Serra moved to the United States with her family at the age of five. Over the past two decades, Maria has built a distinguished career in various areas of law, with a particular focus on immigration and compliance.

Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, Maria has dedicated herself to serving the immigrant community, working as both an immigration paralegal and an interpreter. Her commitment to legal excellence is matched by her personal dedication; while raising her daughter and working full-time, Maria obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2019. She furthered her education by earning a law degree from St. Thomas University’s Benjamin L. Crump College of Law in 2023.

Maria’s professional achievements culminated in her becoming a licensed member of the Florida Bar in April 2024. As an attorney, she is committed to being an effective and staunch advocate for the immigrant community, leveraging her extensive experience and legal acumen to support and defend their rights.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Maria has a passion for languages, having studied French, Italian, and Russian in addition to her fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Her hobbies include gardening and travel, reflecting her love for growth and exploration.

Maria Serra’s blend of legal expertise, linguistic skills, and personal dedication make her a formidable advocate for the immigrant community and a valued member of the legal profession.

Chenica Pompilus

Senior Paralegal and Office Manager

Born in Delmas, Haiti, and having migrated to the United States at the age of 5, Chenica Pompilus embodies the immigrant spirit, resilience, and a commitment to making the American Dream a reality for others. With two decades of life in South Florida, she’s not just bilingual in English and Haitian-Creole; she’s also a dedicated advocate for immigrants seeking permanent residency and citizenship in the U.S.

Chenica embarked on her journey with The Law Office of Tatiane M. Silva, P.A. in July 2020 as a paralegal and quickly rose through the ranks. By July 2021, she had earned her promotion to Senior Paralegal and assumed dual responsibilities as an Office Manager. Her unwavering dedication to helping immigrant families reunite after years of separation due to the complexities of the immigration system has made her an invaluable asset to her clients and the firm.

Brenda Diaz


Born in Argentina, Brenda Diaz’s journey to the United States commenced in the year 2000. Her story is one of resilience and unwavering dedication to making a difference in the lives of immigrants.

Brenda’s connection with The Law Office of Tatiane M. Silva, P.A. began in 2018 when she joined the firm as a legal clerk. However, her family’s military background led her to relocate to North Carolina in 2021 and subsequently to California in 2022. Despite the distance, Brenda’s commitment to her mission remained steadfast, and in January 2023, she reconnected with the firm, resuming her role as a paralegal and working remotely.

Brenda’s academic journey at Florida International University was marked by the invaluable support of DACA. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which has given her a unique perspective on the complexities of human experiences and emotions. Proficient in both English and Spanish, she takes immense pride in her immigrant background, using her linguistic and cultural fluency to connect with clients on a deeper level.

Danilo Bordim


Danilo Bordim, a trilingual professional fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, is a dedicated and passionate figure in the legal field. His journey in the world of law began at the age of 16 when he served as a county clerk in his hometown in Brazil, laying the foundation for a remarkable career. With a thirst for knowledge and a commitment to excellence, Danilo embarked on a journey of education and specialization. He pursued two years of law school before honing his expertise in Graphology and Document Analysis, bringing a unique skill set to the legal realm.

At the age of 20, Danilo made a life-changing decision to move to the United States, where he furthered his education. He earned his associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Language Interpretation, and Translation, expanding his capabilities in the legal profession. His dedication to the field is underscored by his title as a New York notary public.

Danilo’s true passion lies in immigration matters, and he ardently believes in the pursuit of the American Dream. With a rich background, diverse skills, and a heartfelt commitment to the immigrant community, Danilo Bordim stands as a valuable asset in the legal world, dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those he serves.

Amanda Reyes

Legal Clerk

Amanda is a dedicated pre-law student who was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Growing up in a vibrant, multicultural environment has shaped her perspective and fueled her ambition to make a difference through the field of law. 

Amanda comes from a family with deep roots in Havana, Cuba, as her parents immigrated from there in search of new opportunities. This background has instilled in her a strong appreciation for diverse cultures and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by immigrant communities. 

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Amanda is passionate about using her bilingual skills to bridge gaps and advocate for justice. Her dream is to become a human rights lawyer, working to defend the rights of those who are marginalized or oppressed. Driven by a commitment to creating positive change, Amanda is focused on excelling in her studies and gaining the knowledge and experience needed to pursue this meaningful career path. 

Outside of academics, Amanda finds joy in exploring their creative side through art and music. She believes that her creative pursuits not only enrich her personal life but also provide a unique perspective that will inform her future work as a lawyer. With a strong foundation in her cultural heritage and a passion for human rights and a love for art and music, Amanda is excited about the future and the opportunity to contribute to the legal field.
